谭先进,男,汉族,1949年1月生,中共党员。广西大学哲学系哲学专业1977 级毕业。历任广西壮族自治区党委办公厅处长,扶绥县县长、县委书记,中共南宁地委委员、秘书长,崇左市政协副主席。现在是中国书法家协会会员,中华诗词学会会员,中国央广国际文化交流艺术委员会副主席、国际艺术名家,中国书画领域品牌人物,百年西泠中国历代艺坛巨匠,亚洲国际青年电影节评审团主席。崇左市老干部诗词学会会长,崇左市老年大学校长。

Tan Xianjin, is a Han Chinese male born in January 1949 and is a member of the Chinese Communist Party. He graduated from Guangxi University’s Department of Philosophy in the Class of 1977. Throughout his career, he held various positions, including Director of the General Office of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee, County Head and Party Secretary of Fusui County, Member and Secretary-General of the Nanning Prefectural Party Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Chongzuo City Political Consultative Conference.

Tan is currently a member of the China Calligraphers Association, a member of the China Poetry Society, Vice Chairman of the China Radio International Cultural Exchange and Art Committee, an international art master, a prominent figure in Chinese calligraphy and painting, a renowned master in the Bainian Xiling lineage of Chinese artistic giants, and the chairman of the jury for the Asian International Youth Film Festival. He also serves as the President of the Chongzuo City Retired Cadres Poetry Society and the Principal of the Chongzuo City Senior University.

Tan’s running-cursive calligraphy combines adherence to traditional rules with his own distinct style and features. The main subjects of his calligraphy works are classical poetry, Mao Zedong’s poetry, and his own compositions. He also writes inscriptions for painters using poetry. In addition to creating running-cursive calligraphy works, he has written theoretical works on the subject, such as Key Points in Running-Cursive Calligraphy. He has unique insights and recommendations on preserving and innovating Chinese contemporary calligraphy and promoting its high-quality development.

Tan has been recognized as a National Model Retired Cadre and a Cultural Ambassador of China. He was also honored as an Outstanding Contributor for the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and named a "Lifelong Learning Star."
